Thanks to all who came out to the Lake Pontchartrain Craft Fair!
The Lake PontchARTrain Craft Fair was held Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10am to 4pm at the New Canal Lighthouse. Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation hosted 60+ vendors selling a wide variety of arts and crafts, including artwork, jewelry, clothing, accessories, home decor, pottery, soaps, jellies, jams, face painting, and more! Admission was free, and the New Canal Lighthouse Museum and Education Center was open for discounted tours.
Our Earth Day celebration featured educational activities for children of all ages, including activities from LPBF's Education team, a "How to Build a Fairy Garden" demonstration from Turbo's Fairies and Gnomes, a demonstration of the Reactive Digital Systems' TopoBox, face painting by Face Painting By Ann and NOLA Wax Hands, & edible sand art candy by Nola Boutique. Parents brought out the kids to jump on our spacewalk, generously donated by Bounce World, while they shopped around the fair.
Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers! Without you, this event would not have been possible.
Thanks for celebrating Earth Day with us!
