The awards presentation was held on Saturday, June 1st at the Back to the Beach Festival at Laketown in Kenner. All proceeds from the Save Our Lake & Coast Fishing Rodeo are used to continue efforts to restore and preserve the Pontchartrain Basin.
This year a Save Our Lake and Coast Fishing Rodeo Kickoff and Earlybird Party whas held on Thursday, May 16th, 5-8 pm, at the New Canal Lighthouse Museum & Education Center. Attendees participated in a Q & A session with our Lake Pontchartrain Panel of Captains.
