Sponsor an Event
Supporting Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation (LPBF) events through sponsorship is an excellent way to broaden your community involvement. Event sponsorship not only helps local businesses reach thousands of families throughout the Basin, but also supports the Foundation’s important restoration activities, educational programs, and advocacy efforts.
LPBF hosts many exciting events throughout the year. There are a variety of event sponsorship opportunities available to corporations, small businesses, and individuals. Being an LPBF sponsor is about much more than writing checks. It is about building a relationship with LPBF and getting to know us, our mission, and our supporters.
While helping to Save Our Lake and Coast is the greatest reason to sponsor an LPBF event, there are many other benefits—including having your name placed on promotional materials and signage, having your logo included in all special event marketing and advertisements, recognition in our newsletters and Annual Report, tickets to special events, and more.
To learn more about these great LPBF events and how you can become a proud LPBF sponsor, please call the Event Office at 504-836-2205.

Save Our Lake and Coast Fishing Rodeo
The Save Our Lake and Coast (SOLC) Fishing Rodeo began as an outreach effort to encourage adults and children to discover the fun of fishing in the waters of the Pontchartrain Basin. The Rodeo is also a way for LPBF to create awareness and educate the community about our lake, coast, and public access. We want the community to learn of our successes in cleaning up the basin and how they can assist in keeping our waterways clean and safe. Sponsors have many opportunities to reach the public through the Rodeo Kickoff Party and the tournament itself, including recognition on event signage and promotional materials, pre-event advertising, and logo on Rodeo registration forms.
