Habitat Resources

In order to protect the habitats of the Pontchartrain Basin, the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation created a plan that maps out projects that will protect and enhance the Basin’s habitats for years to come.  Please see LPBF’s Comprehensive Habitat Management Plan to read about the strategy to make our region sustainable for future generations.

Please visit the Habitat sections of our website for numerous resources on landuse planning and conservation and protection.

If you have any questions or need more information, please contact us.
