Congratulations to the run/walk winners! A list of winners will be posted on the NORSI website at www.NOLArunning.com. We would like to thank our Race Director, Chuck George for his hard work and support. It was a special night as our community celebrated the relighting of the New Canal Lightouse and its rebirth. The weather was perfect as the 610 Stompers started the festivities with a pre-race warm-up. The race was followed by the relighting of this historic New Orleans icon and beacon of hope. About l,000 runners and supporters watched from the seawall and shoreline as the light on top of the New Canal Lighthouse illuminated the night sky. All were enjoying our beautiful Lake Pontchartrain!
Post race food was provided by the Blue Crab Restaurant and Oyster Bar on Lakeshore Drive, Bud Light Beer, Kentwood Springs Water, Coca-Cola, and Elmer Chee Wees.
