relight

It was a special night as our community celebrated the relighting of the New Canal Lightouse and its rebirth. The weather was perfect as the 610 Stompers started the festivities with a pre-race warm-up. The race was followed by the relighting of this historic New Orleans icon and beacon of hope. About l,000 runners and supporters watched from the seawall and shoreline as the light on top of the New Canal Lighthouse illuminated the night sky. All were enjoying our beautiful Lake Pontchartrain!

Post race food was provided by the Blue Crab Restaurant and Oyster Bar on Lakeshore Drive, Bud Light Beer, Kentwood Springs Water, Coca-Cola, and Elmer Chee Wees.

A big THANK YOU to our wonderful sponsors listed below. We could not do it without you!
